Alexander Flood’s All For The Pocket presents an urban hip-hop foundation layered with jazz and funk elements, glued together by Flood’s hard-hitting beat and heightened by MC Nelson Dialect’s effortless vocal flow.

Flood and Dialect both explain the track as being an ode to groove and playing in the pocket - something that is fundamentally important as a drummer and a rapper.

“When I wrote all the music for All For The Pocket I had a really clear idea of how I wanted the track to come together on an instrumental level but knowing how masterful Nelson is, I didn’t want to give him any constraints and just wanted to let the music take him wherever it did”

“Nelson was in New York City when he wrote his verses and then recorded them when he was in London. We finally were able to get together and finish up the track when he returned to Australia, so it really was a cross-global collaboration”
